Thank you for introducing me to the Shock Doctor Mouthguard. It has been everything you said. I am very impressed with the quality.

Mitch, I have always had a belief that the athletic mouthguard is a very important piece of safety equipment.....for both, men and women participating in sports. Research has shown that when properly fit, the mouth guard can help reduce the severity and incidenceof concussion related injuries cuased by the force of blows through the chin strap, face mask, and direct blows to the head. The mouth guard serves like a shock absorber deflecting shock from the player's Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) and ultimately the brain.

When ourplayers are not fit with a custom mouth gaurd, I recommend the Shock Doctor boil and bite mouthguard. Preliminary testing, which has been presented, indicates that the Shock Doctor absorbs force from blows to the head better than any other mouth guard available. The Shock Doctor seems to fit better than other boil and bite mouth guards and I recommend the quick release safety strap. The Shock Doctor is also quick and easy to mold.
